Ficspam lol
Because I OBVIOUSLY don't have two fics to finish, two to post, one to start, and a fragment of the Killer Bunny to type up. -____- So I write ficletty things instead...? XD

Pretty - Honeydew Syndrome, Charles/Jay.

Easily Entertained - Death Note, Light/L. Well, more likely L/Light, luuuuulz. XD

I have been endeavoring to write the last few hundred words of richelle2972's fic for like three days now. For some reason I am still FAILING MISERABLY. O_o

Tonight will be the night. Screw my Milton homework. XD

BACK TO WORK. Well, "work," as it were.

Feeling: determineddetermined

Oh noes, I'm ruining your academic career as well as mine. Mayday, mayday! XD

Yes! Screw Milton! Uh...although if I did end up having his kids they'd probably end up a little too radical for my taste...XD

Fic, was good. Me like veeery much! ^^
Vitamin C: Matsudatierfal on February 10th, 2009 11:26 pm (UTC)
lol. I actually like the guy a lot, or his writing at least, but... homework destroys good things and makes them painful. XD

Yay!! ^^

Oh, yeah, Milton is great. I do love his Paradise Lost even though it was a little heavy on the eyes (and the brain) but I heard that he was pretty radically religious (ftw alliterations! XD)

I was actually supposed to do a 4000 word essay on Milton's use of satanic forces/creatures in his works at one point. But...then I left school XD
Vitamin C: Blue Rosetierfal on February 11th, 2009 11:12 pm (UTC)
Yeah, he was a super-big figure in the English Reformation. And spends a great deal of time very subtly bashing priests and people who disagreed with him. XD

I wrote a five-page paper on the last fifteen lines of PL at the end of last year. 8D ...I honestly don't remember anything about what I said, except that I seem to recall it was kind of optimistic, and the next lecture, the professor took a really pessimistic stance on it. XD
Rexicequeenrex on February 12th, 2009 12:27 pm (UTC)
I guess that most poetic works are pretty relative, and a lot of the time what we perceive isn't what our lecturers do, but in any case as long as they aren't grading it with any bias then things are usually fine ^^;
Vitamin Ctierfal on February 13th, 2009 03:12 am (UTC)
It didn't destroy my grade, so it must've worked out all right somehow! XD

And yeah, I figure that it's supposed to be open to interpretation anyway, or it's not very good poetry. XD

…for no reason whatsoever, seeing your icon for the nth time compelled me to make one to keep it company. XD Here you go! 8D ♥

*pets and scratches behind ears* I shall beat the crap out of it for you. :3

I think muses may be built like that. Or perhaps we're just... what's the word. "Lucky"? XD

*kicks HTML* XD

Do NOT screw Milton... I'm rather partial to the man's work though, especially when reading Gaiman. Of course, he fits in right there between Shakespeare and Sartre, rounding out my most obsessively odd taste in literary characters.
Vitamin C: L - Bluetierfal on February 10th, 2009 11:50 pm (UTC)
lol, I phrased that badly... I'm not QUITE as enamored of Milton as I am of Shakespeare, but he does really fantastic, really beautiful things with words, and I do love his stuff. ^^ Like, I read Paradise Lost last year for a different English class, and at first I was sorta "MEH," and then I got totally sucked in. XD

He's CRAZY-brilliant, that guy is. O_o

Also all the Bible references my teacher explains result in me working them into fics, :B

Fandom does not know this "Homework" and "Life" you speak of XD
Vitamin Ctierfal on February 10th, 2009 11:53 pm (UTC)

I would acquaint them all with each other, but I don't think they'd get along. :P
