And now for a rousing game of SPIN THE BOTTLE! 8D

Okay, so first off, thank our Resident Genius, eltea, for setting this up -- if it hadn't been for her, you'd have to show us pictures of you playing tonsil hockey with someone/-thing.

Well, obviously, you can still do that if you want...

But if you don't, eltea designed webpages that will generate a random pairing. Just choose your poison fandom, open the page in a new window, get your results, and write us a drabble as cracky as you like! :D

(If it's a pairing that makes your soul bleed so much you're worried about the hemorrhaging, you're welcome to refresh the page and get another. XD)

eltea says:

If you'd like a fandom that's not on here, just give me a list of the characters and I'd be glad to put it up. :) And if you do it like this: ["Light", "L", "Misa", "Matt", "Mello", "Near"], it'll literally take me about sixty seconds from when I see your request, because that's the format the code takes it in. ;) So if there's a fandom you love that tierfal and I don't know, ask away! :D

It was the familiarity of her face that made him stop dead - not literally, though he didn't think anyone would really care if he did - and stare at her. Granted this girl was younger and perhaps less frightening than Naomi but the brown hair, brown eyes and that calm manner of walking - adding to that, the sharpness of her gaze - well, it brought him back to a time of fire. Lots and lots of fire.

A sudden anger boiled in him then. The girl had stopped his suicide attempt. What a bitch.

So, as formidable as he could get, he marched up to her where she was seated outside a cafe, her mother sitting across from her and noticing the way this dark haired, scruffy - and very hobo-ish - looking man made his way towards them.

Mrs. Yagami blinked. "May I help you?"

B glared and folded his arms at the lady. "No, but I'd like to tell you that I very much dislike your daughter."

Both women blinked and turned their eyes towards him in shock.

Sayu stared widely at him and opened her mouth to speak, though nothing came out. She'd been like that for the past year. Unfortunately the most she could manage was a squeak and that's only when she sneezed.

"That's right, Naomi, I'm talking to you. You ruined my suicide attempt! Well, I hope you're happy and I hope you know that you don't have very much longer to live!" It wasn't true actually, the numbers above her head said she had about fifty more years but perhaps if he pushed fate a little she might accidentally step in front of a bus.

"Her name isn't-"

"I'M the one asking questions here. Or...making statements and death threats rather." With an air of civility, B straightened himself and looked down at her snootily. "Good day, Naomi," he said before walking off again.

Sayu squeaked. She also very nearly got hit by a bus later on that evening.

Uh....I don't know.....it just happened while sitting in a cafe and drinking lemonade. *looks at lemonade strangely*

Re: Sayu/B
It is....one of the strangest fics and pairings to write but...this was what hit me as soon as I got it. XDDD

B is almost as prophetic as Near and his dreams! :O

Oh, dear, what's this?
To tell the truth, L wasn't fond of Hide and Seek.

He preferred to keep his mindgames in a controlled environment -- or at least an environment that didn't involve racing around huge houses with staircases and other hazards. He also preferred a more continuous hiding strategy: a sort of hide-and-adapt, hide-and-adapt pattern, wherein each new stratagem segued into another.

There was something indelicate about hurtling down the hall, flinging open the door of the first closet he could find, and darting inside. It was obvious, yes, but perhaps Misa wouldn't look behind this old mattress, and it was very dark...

He reached one hand out and met short, silky hair.

"Oh--" he managed, scrambling back.

Light's voice was very strained.

"I'm sorry," L whispered. "I can find a new pla--"

Footsteps in the hall silenced the both of them. Misa was humming to herself contentedly, a song that seemed vaguely familiar.

It sounded like "Figured You Out," by Nickelback.

L crouched, fingers splayed on the floor, poised to barrel past Misa and run if the occasion arose. The World's Greatest Detective did not lose at children's games.

Momentarily, Misa moved on without discovering them, but not before Light had moved close enough that L could feel his body heat.

L paused, trying and failing to distinguish the boy's silhouette in the dark, and slowly realized that he had been waiting for this opportunity for a very long time.

Maybe Hide and Seek wasn't so bad after all.

"Light-kun," L murmured cautiously, "there's something I've been meaning to say."

"Uh--" Light began, sounding strangled -- perhaps because he knew what was to come.

"Please just hear me out," L cut in. "I just hope that I'm not imagin... I'd like to think the evidence is empirical. And Matsuda has been giggling with three ties the usual frequency."

"What I mean to say..." L frowned -- but, of course, Light couldn't see his facial expression in the dark. This was an unexpected detriment; he had intended for it to convey his sincerity.

Perhaps he should play off of that.

L fumbled for Light's hair, caught a few smooth locks in one hand, and drew the boy in for a warm, determined kiss.

Light had virtually frozen. Certainly he'd been kissed before--? L hoped this wasn't a reflection on the inadequacy of his attempt; he'd read the Wikihow page...

He raised the other hand to curl it in Light's hair as well, and he encountered a pair of goggles.

L squeaked and released Matt as hastily as humanly possible, scrambling away.

"I'm sorry!" Matt cried, doing likewise. "You wouldn't let me get a word in--"

L's face was doing a strange thing -- it had heated up considerably. Was this a symptom of fever?

"I -- I, ah -- oops," L managed weakly.

Oh. It was a symptom of stupidity.

That solved that.

"Don't tell Mello!" Matt pleaded. "He'll end me!"

"I," L assured him dryly, "will not be telling anyo--"

The door whipped open, and Misa burst in.

"Found you!" she crowed.

Hide and Seek was the worst game ever invented.

"We're playing Twister next!" Misa chirped.

The second-worst game.

I don't feel like writing anything right now, but... kept getting things that made my soul bleed. First one I was ok with was Tonks/Voldemort! O_o
Vitamin C: Arthurtierfal on July 21st, 2009 01:55 am (UTC)
These things are made for soul bleedage. o_o HP is especially bad because so many people are related. XDD
