Bullet points are so *stylish*
For the record, my mother spent the entire ride to the train station talking about grad school stuff (again), which made me really anxious (again) and was ruining my afternoon (again). And then I felt a lot better after reading my Flist. :)

And now for Tierfal Does the Weekend, in convenient rapid-fire format:

- Yesterday afternoon, while I was bored out of my mind, I made thirty-six Death Note icons. YAYYYY.

- Then I spent my Saturday night doing math problems. No. Really. I read up on about eight billion rules for things like exponents and other stuff I haven't even thought about since the last time I took a math class (that is, junior year in high school, OTL XD), and then I did math problems. It's part of the GRE practice material they give you. It hurts my brain. And my soul. And I SUCK AT MATH, hahaha. This is going to be bad. XD

- My computer charged my iPod perfectly fine, but it somehow didn't connect and update my music. wtf? XD This wouldn't be a problem, except that it means Ingrid Michaelson is only on my computer, and I also don't have Evacuate the Dancefloor or the Sunset Takeover cover of 'Circus'. THIS IS TRAGIC. D:

- Today, I did more math problems. No. Really. @_@

- Then eltea picked me up, and we made sure the measurements for my Halloween costume are about right. OMG. IT'S SO FUCKING PRETTY. I'M GOING TO BE SO PRETTY, YOU GUYS. 8DDDD ...and don't ask what it is, 'cause it's a secret, so I'm not going to tell you. :D

- Then I got back to my apartment and discovered that I have inadvertently created a Death Note shrine. The only way it could be more complete would be if I replaced W;t and The Collected Poems of W.B. Yeats, which are on top of my boxed set, with eltea's copy of Another Note. XDD So obvs I'm going to do that after next weekend. And then sit in front of it wearing my L shirt and read doujin. XD''''

- The fic I've been working on sporadically since August just reached 8,444 words, and I have no idea how it's going to end. I'd say it's essentially just a fanservice orgy, but that describes pretty much everything I write. XD/8D/O_o

- eltea helped me plan out a super-special-awesome revamp of my creative writing story, because the ideas I had were all pretty much crap, haha. XD Those of you who have read all the o-fic she's helped me plan before will be SHOCKED to hear that it's going to be kind of creepy now, lololol. XD WE IZ AWESOME. \o/

...I think I might've made sense once, in some mythical era that ended long before the one we inhabit. XD

Don't they just? I swear they practice. Possibly in large numbers in order to share strategies. D:

*noms* :3 Yeah, I'm so ready never to have to do it again after this weekend, haha. XD

Haha, there's still pieces of LotR shrine all over my bedroom at home, \o/ My piece de la resistance was definitely the Two Towers popcorn tub I got at the movie theater... LIMITED EDITION and total trash, haha. XD

Isn't it? :d

MATH! I despise working math problems. But I love you, and that should be some sort of consolation... ;)

Don't let the grad school terrors get you down! We are here for you, darlin'. And if need be, I will drive my mobile gym all the way to California. XD
Vitamin C: L and Misatierfal on September 22nd, 2009 04:47 am (UTC)
I actually don't mind it too much when it's going well, but I get frustrated really fast when it's not, haha. XD And awww, that does make it better! 8D

*dances* Also, if you drove your mobile gym over here, I would probably have a heart attack of joy. *___*

I think a weekend of Death Note icons is totally necessary. *nods*

And ah....maths....I...can't do maths for shit. XD Every time I see a maths problem in bio my mind goes BLANK. I swear, numbers and me do not go well together. And yet I could probably do it if I tried but...let's not go there. :P So I admire the fact that you (and everybody else it seems) has the patience to do thiz thing called mathz. XD

I support fanservice orgy fic with my entire BEING. >D *cheers for you and smut*

Good luck with your story, bb!!! ♥

I spend my time wisely; what can I say? XD

IKR. Numbers and I don't get along very well. Neither do variables and I. Neither do... you get the idea, haha. XD And "patience" is a relative term so far, lol. XD

\o/ There's only a little smut, actually... but this is the "drunken shenanigans" one from the WIP meme, so s'all good. 8D

Thanks, bb!! :3 ♥

It fails. I should know, because of a certain last year...um. Yeah.

But, I can vouch for the fact that you're not lame. No, most certainly not. *shakes head*

IKR. You feel my pain, haha. XD

Aww, well. :3

It's because you're just totally awesome. XD

Mothers are really annoyingly brilliant at making us worry. And HUZZAH(!) for epic flists!

- Huzzah for new DN icons!

- Maths? There was MATHS? Why in the name of Fuzzy would you do that?! Is it required for GradSchool? It all sounds rather evil and difficult to me... You have my best wishes and boundless faith, m'dear. You can do it, sweetheart! Go go GO! *waves pom poms*

- Tragic iPod fail is tragic. *huggles and offers cyber-cookies*

- EEEH? I did A LOT of maths until recently, honey, and you have my utmost sympathies. DX

- You are always pretty, I'm sure, but I'm happy that you will really FEEL so as well. ♥

- *laughs like a loon* Sounds like me and Evangelion... XD

- O_o Uh... I have no words.

- YOU REALLY IZ. *cheers* Huzzah for tierfal! Huzzah for eltea!

I love your rambles. Never stop with them, y'hear?! *huggles*

Love you lots sweetheart, I'm glad you seem ok. ♥

They're so talented, haha. XD

I haaaave toooo, yeah -- the GRE, Graduate Requirement Exam, whatever it's called, I think I just butchered the acronym -- it has a math section, and I honestly don't remember a thing, and now I'm in a bit of trouble, haha. XD THANK YOU, THOUGH. :3

*eats cyber-cookies and gets cyber-crumbs everywhere* ^^;

Awwww, ty, darling. :3 I secretly love pretty things, haha. XD

Just d'aww, darling, I'm so glad you enjoy them! :D I have fun, haha. XD *huggles*

You have my sympathies... XD

The best I can do considering I am certain I do the same thing to my own children.
Vitamin C: Arthurtierfal on September 22nd, 2009 04:56 am (UTC)
Haha, I think it's good for us sometimes -- or at least it's often good for me. Once I get over being sad about it, it at least provides some pretty potent motivation! XD
Emma Daiou: bender doomedemmadaiou28 on September 22nd, 2009 03:19 am (UTC)
I've come to the conclusion that everyone I know sucks at math. My bestest friend is a freaking chemistry major, and even she claims to suck at math. And I use, at least, basic algebra in every computer program I write, but I still totally fail at math logic. XD So you are certainly not alone, plz. <3

Having good stuff missing from your iPod is very tragic! Mine won't hold all my music, so every other time I think of a song I just HAVE to hear, it isn't there. D:

But yay Halloween! I just found a bitchin' haunted farm thing that I absolutely must go to, and I'm all about the Halloween spirit now. :D

Vitamin C: Ten/Screwdriver = OTPtierfal on September 22nd, 2009 04:59 am (UTC)
Haha, eltea is really good at math -- and so's my fourteen-year-old sister, who walked up while I was slaving and went, "Oh, look! These are easy!" XD''

♥, though. Good company is good company. 8D

I guess I'll live, haha. XD Though my iPod is beginning to run out of space, too! I need an upgraaaade. XD

Duuuude, we have a Haunted Forest at the park at home. It used to seem cooler before I did community service there. Okay, it was still pretty cool; just the stuff I was doing wasn't, haha. XD

Urgh, mothers and their nagging!

Also, I've never had stayed in a house long enough to have a shrine. :\ Once our first house is built, I'm going to make a HP, Merlin and Supernatural shrine. AND AN ANIME ONE :DDDDD

Alsooooo, I am really excited for your Halloween costume! *bounces*
Vitamin C: Mello - Reasonabletierfal on September 22nd, 2009 05:50 am (UTC)
They're so GOOD AT IT, too. :|

Awww, that is sad. D: YOU SHOULD DEF. I've had many shrines over the years, though this is probably the most multimedia, haha. XD
