Now all I have to do is pretend I'm going to sleep a reasonable amount tonight, get up tomorrow, hike to school and turn it in, pack, get on a damn train, and get picked up my mommy, and then it is FRIGGING CHRISTMAS, GUYS.

Well, fortunately not; your Christmas presents are still, um, in the, uh, works. Yes. Works. And things. Those.

But now I have NOTHING to sidetrack myself with and NO EXCUSES, so that should help. XD

Happiness Meme (I think this is the last one? ;____;) :

SCHOOL IS OVERRRRRRRRRRRRR (and more Rs; have I mentioned that it's late and there was chocolate and it's late?). Also, I spent a great deal of my day talking to jenwryn and eltea online again, and they are gorgeously wonderful amazingly fantastic human beings, as you all have probably gathered by now. 8D

I even have some of my chocolate left to take home, which comes as quite a shock, let me tell you. XD I only managed to eat HALF of it in like two days, lol. XD

So... that's super-exciting. XD

PEEEEEEEACE. Or peas. Or piece. Or plz. Or whatever you want, 'cause I'm in that kind of mood. 8D

(The only problem is that I'll be leaving my scanner at school, which will make the drawing meme slightly tricky. XD Though eltea has a scanner, and odds are I'll be invading her house for some considerable portion of my break, so that shouldn't be any more than a minor setback. XD)

YAY. x3

Vitamin Ctierfal on December 20th, 2008 12:03 am (UTC)

Oh yeah, did we, uh, ever, uh, actually make a list of movies we were going to watch? XD

I know Eddie was on there. :P
richelle2972richelle2972 on December 20th, 2008 12:15 am (UTC)
I don't think so... XP I wanted to show you guys RENT, but I'm getting that for Christmas so we can't watch it until after that. Oh, and Eltea mentioned a movie she wanted to watch that neither you nor I had seen, but I think that's all we came up with. Are there any that you really want to see?
Vitamin Ctierfal on December 20th, 2008 01:24 am (UTC)
Whoops. I bet Eltea will remember some of them. XD

And depending on when we want to have teh movie nitez, my stepmom has RENT at my dad's house, which I'll be going to... eventually... XD Though probably not before Christmas, so that probably doesn't make a difference.

I should delete that whole useless paragraph, but I won't. XD

Uhhhhh... I can't think of any, though I'm up for pretty much anything! XD Oooh, we could show Eltea Underworld and Van Helsing; she hasn't seen either! XD
Eltea: Unrealistically Pretty Meeltea on December 20th, 2008 02:28 am (UTC)

You guys will love that movie, I think. ^_^

And I would love to see Underworld and Van Helsing. :)

And I need to show you guys more Miyazaki movies too. 8D

/smiley assortment XD

richelle2972richelle2972 on December 20th, 2008 06:26 am (UTC)
Hahaha OMG I LOVE UNDERWORLD AND VAN HELSING!!! :D Ahem...anyway, I would love to see more Miyazaki movies and Amelie. : ) Oooh that'd be great if you could get RENT before Christmas. If not, don't worry about it. I'm so excited for our movie night! It's going to be epic!
Vitamin C: L - Bewilderedtierfal on December 20th, 2008 08:17 pm (UTC)
L reports that the odds of me going there before Christmas are about point-one percent, lol. XD

But yes, it will be AWESOOOOOME. 8D

Hee, thank you! XD

Yay! College Break :)

Amelie is a fantastic movie. As is Howl's Moving Castle (but the book is better)... and Underworld...

If you three like artsy films, I recommend Charlie Bartlett. It's a good late night, release thyself from social constructs and mock society on a whole film.

Good luck on the artsy meme. That one sounds delightfully entertaining.

I've been ready to escape since, uh, pretty much September. XD

I kind of view the book of HMC and the movie as two separate entities, almost, since Miyazaki did a lot of things differently. Almost like a reinterpretation. ^^

I heard good things about that one. :)

lol, if I could just get my act (and my pencil) together... XD
I MUST: procrastinatesabriel75 on December 20th, 2008 08:29 pm (UTC)
Excellent! You've seen it and understand. Yes, a reinterpretation perfectly describes Miyazaki's film version. There's a separate kind of desperation to Howl (the movie). I adore Howl's transformation into a wounded bird, a monster as Howl sees himself, but the fact that in that incarnation, he's the savior of the world.

Ha! You have no excuse. You're on break... get to work on those Christmas pics ;)
Vitamin C: Charles - Bluetierfal on December 20th, 2008 08:45 pm (UTC)
Yeah, definitely. And I think Sophie came off much more vulnerable in the movie, which sort of worked given his approach. :]

I have an excuse! It's called "everybody's Christmas fics, which DO have a deadline!" XD
